A women’s lifestyle magazine launched in-house by Pinpoint Media, where I handled layout, product features, and full production across 15 editions.
Best Rated Portfolio in the Market
I worked as Creative Designer on La Femme Magazine, a women’s lifestyle publication launched in-house by Pinpoint Media Group and printed in Dubai. I was part of the original team, designing the first four editions before moving to another company, where I worked for 3 years and 7 months, including 6 months in Mauritius. After returning to Dubai, I rejoined Pinpoint Media and completed around 15 editions in total. I worked under Creative Director Karl Ibrahim and later alongside designer Adam Sneade. Editors I collaborated with included Jola Chudy (Editor-in-Chief), Sarah Williams, Cindy L. Bailey, and Kelly Ann Crane. I used Adobe InDesign for layout design, Photoshop for photo retouching and resizing, and Illustrator for custom editorial illustrations. The product grid pages were especially challenging early on due to the volume of content and tight spacing, but eventually became one of the most enjoyable parts of the design process.

Design Experience
Design Experience
The design challenge in La Femme was finding visual harmony between editorial storytelling and high-volume product pages. The tone was confident, colorful, and style-driven, and the layouts had to reflect that.
Whether designing beauty spreads, trend roundups, interviews, or personal essays, my goal was to maintain a balance of white space, rhythm, and visual flow while keeping the magazine aligned with a modern, upscale aesthetic.

Workflow & Tools
Workflow & Tools
My tools included Adobe InDesign for layout, Photoshop for all image editing and retouching, and Illustrator for original illustrations used throughout the magazine. Under Karl Ibrahim’s direction, I built a structured yet flexible layout system that worked across departments.
I also worked closely with Adam Sneade after rejoining Pinpoint Media. Together, we refined layout grids and coordinated file delivery between editorial and production. I ensured each issue was print-ready and visually consistent from cover to final page.

Editorial Flow
Editorial Flow
Working with editors like Jola Chudy, Sarah Williams, Cindy L. Bailey, and Kelly Ann Crane, I translated raw content into clear, visually engaging layouts. Each issue brought new creative challenges—from last-minute ad drops to complex product styling.
My role was not just visual but highly collaborative, bridging editorial, design, and production to deliver a premium women’s lifestyle title at the highest standard, every time.
