Emailer

Responsive branded email campaigns for White Friday, Eid, Christmas, and flash sales built in Adobe XD and Figma for marketing performance

Email Design

Responsive UI

Know More

I design a wide range of responsive marketing emailers for EDGAR, using Adobe XD and Figma. These include campaigns for White Friday, Flash Sales, Eid and Christmas greetings, as well as promotional product highlights. Each emailer follows strict design rules for mobile compatibility, brand clarity, and visual hierarchy focusing on fast scannability and action-based layouts.

Design Shift from Photoshop to XD

I've seen emailer design evolve first-hand, and my workflow has matured right along with it. Over nine years ago, I began designing emailers in Photoshop, manually exporting slices. With Adobe XD's launch in 2016, I transitioned to vector-based responsive layouts. Eventually, I migrated my entire workflow into Figma. This move brought collaborative hand-offs, live previewing, and scalable component libraries, all of which significantly elevated production speed and consistency across EDGAR campaigns.

Rules of Email Design

Rules of Email Design

Consistency, clarity, and conversion-focused layouts were always prioritized. I built structures around engagement and readability principles.

I always follow proven email design principles. This includes using web-safe fonts, proper line height, and clean padding for scannability. My CTA buttons are always bold and high-contrast, featuring clear action verbs. I define typography styles for headings, subheadings, and body text, and optimize imagery for retina displays and dark mode when necessary. Furthermore, I maintain strict column grids to align visuals and ensure fluid responsiveness across devices.

Color and Typography System

Color and Typography System

My brand-true color and type choices ensure campaign consistency across touchpoints and support the emotional tone for each occasion.

Each emailer consistently followed EDGAR’s core brand colors, while I adapted the tone based on the campaign. This meant using darker, bolder hues for sales like White Friday, and lighter, celebratory hues for Eid or holiday greetings. My font choices prioritized system compatibility with fallback options for maximum deliverability. I carefully balanced font weights and color contrast to retain legibility in both light and dark inbox themes.

Mobile-First Responsive Strategy

Mobile-First Responsive Strategy

Optimized for touch, thumb-reach, and fast loading, my designs are built to scale across every inbox.

I designed every email layout to perform across all screen sizes, from desktop to mobile. Content blocks were vertically stacked for thumb-friendly tapping, and image-text spacing followed safe margins for Gmail, Apple Mail, and Outlook compatibility. File sizes were compressed for speed without compromising image quality, ensuring strong performance metrics on open and click-through rates.
