Know More

In 2018, I joined Edgar Magazine as Senior Creative Designer & Assistant to Creative Director at PPMG. I handled editorial layout, team mentoring, and full print production. Including hard and soft proof checks before final press approval.

Inside Editorial Process

When PPMG acquired Edgar in 2018, I led its creative transition in-house. I collaborated closely with my favorite editor, Rob Chilton, a highly experienced journalist, copywriter, media trainer, and MC with 25 years' experience in London, New York City, and Dubai. His extensive portfolio includes contributions to Time, Esquire, GQ, Elle Man, Harper's Bazaar, and Sunday Times, and partnerships with prestigious entities like SheerLuxe, The Arts Club, Louis Vuitton, and BMW. Working alongside Senior Digital Editor Nathan Irvine, my role involved adapting lifestyle-driven editorial content, spanning fashion, travel, watches, and grooming, into premium visual layouts. Furthermore, I ensured that ad artwork supplied by Sudhish Chandran was meticulously integrated and aligned with the magazine's narrative flow.

Under Creative Director Karl Ibrahim, I guided designers in layout quality and visual consistency. I provided hands-on training and editorial alignment to meet global men’s publishing standards.

Designing each issue with professional control using the full Adobe toolkit

I used Adobe InDesign for editorial layout, Adobe Photoshop for imagery edits, Adobe Illustrator for graphics, and Adobe Bridge to manage and review ad submissions. Every ad file from Sudhish Chandran went through my checklist resolution, size, bleed, and alignment before integration.
