From fonts to photography, I helped shape a refined, collaborative brand identity for Caffe Monza, executed entirely inside Figma.

I led the Caffe Monza branding project using Figma for its powerful real-time collaboration, robust design systems, and scalable handoff structure, ensuring a unified brand experience.

Collaborative Design Culture

We chose Figma because it allowed our three-person team to work simultaneously, editing, reviewing, and building the brand in real time. With permission-based access and browser-friendly features, the process was faster, clearer, and more dynamic than traditional desktop tools like InDesign or Illustrator, significantly enhancing our design workflow and efficiency.

The brand values balance exceptional quality with ethics: respect, responsibility, sustainability, and a commitment to exceptional coffee culture.

Caffe Monza celebrates the journey of coffee, from sourcing to roasting to sharing. Every element of the brand reflects a higher purpose: community, care, and craft. These values were the foundation for every visual element we developed, including color, typography, photography, and layout.

Typography & Color

Typography & Color

Strong typography and rich color combinations define the visual tone: modern, sophisticated, and grounded in design precision.

Our primary fonts were Acumin Pro (Ex Condensed and Regular), with Arial reserved for fallback use in special cases. The color palette combined navy, spot orange, greys, and bronze, offering warmth and elegance. Consistency was key across print, social, and digital formats.

Style, Assets, & Templates

I built stationery, social media templates, and defined photography rules to lock in a consistent, polished visual identity.

I used Figma to create responsive design systems, brand assets, and social layouts. The photography style was clear: warm, natural, and product-focused. Stationery mockups were also developed in-browser, making the entire design language both collaborative and easily shareable with external partners.
