As Senior Creative Designer & Assistant to Creative Director, I worked on over 30 editions of the Choithram Brochure. I contributed significantly to each issue. These free supermarket brochures were distributed across all Choithram outlets in Dubai, featuring monthly promotions, themed campaigns, and rich food storytelling.
Inside Editorial Process
The brochure featured Ramadan, Eid, Christmas, and Diwali editions, each crafted to capture the spirit of the festival. Recurring sections included Foodnews, Colour of the Month, Editor’s Picks, Family Favourites, Fruity Facts, What’s In My Basket, Cooking with Chef, and Chef Chat, spotlighting Dubai-based restaurant chefs. We integrated barcodes for every product and recipe, providing readers seamless direct access to Choithram.com. I collaborated with Creative Director Karl Ibrahim and editors Kelly Crane and Cindy L. Bailey, ensuring each design delivered consistency, clarity, and strong promotional impact.

I excel at food storytelling, creating vibrant layouts across themed campaigns and seasonal supermarket editions.
I designed colorful layouts highlighting products, pricing, and lifestyle recipes within each festive context. Using licensed Shutterstock images and in-house chef photography, I balanced clean retail messaging with engaging visuals, making each issue feel informative and fresh for local shoppers.

I ensured shared design ownership with production precision across teams, tools, and 40-page brochure workflows.
My work was complemented by fellow designers in the team, and we often rotated projects to meet deadlines. I used Adobe InDesign for layout structuring, Photoshop for visual correction, Illustrator for custom graphics, and Bridge to organize incoming ad assets and imagery.

I ensured quality before every press run through detailed checks, proofing rounds, and visual alignment reviews.
Every issue underwent my hard and soft proof reviews before press. I personally checked all layout pages for resolution, bleed, product clarity, and alignment, only approving for print when everything met our visual and brand standards. Quality control was essential for every monthly release.
