Know More
As the first creative hire at ExpatMoney, I played a pivotal role in building the entire design and content engine from the ground up. The magazine quickly became a premium platform for UAE and UK companies to generate high-quality leads through white-labeled editorial content.
Inside Editorial Process
From the earliest issues of ExpatMoney Magazine, I led the creative direction under the leadership of founder Derry Thornalley. As the publication evolved into ExpatLife, my focus remained on layout design, content adaptation, and visual consistency across branded client articles. Each edition featured tailored editorial placements, customized to reflect the tone and style of our clients across sectors including real estate, finance, education, law, and lifestyle. I worked on branded features for companies such as Bush & Noble, Private Jet, Creative Zone, Taaleem, James Berry & Associates, and Sovereign Group, helping them stand out in a crowded marketplace.

Creative Role Expansion
Creative Role Expansion
My responsibilities quickly grew beyond just magazine design. I took on web layout using Adobe Muse, developed brand style guides, and produced promotional brochures and pitch decks. I also created custom graphics, icons, and promotional pages using Illustrator and Photoshop.
My work spanned a diverse range of companies, including Sapphire Recruitment, Elite Sports Academy, OPS, Mackrell Turner Garrett, Arkhurst & Abdellah, LJ Hooker, Knight Frank, Repton School, and many more. For these clients, I delivered brand-accurate content across all touchpoints.

Design Tools & Workflow
Design Tools & Workflow
I excel at delivering multi-platform creative with both speed and structure, ensuring efficient and organized design execution across all channels.
I leveraged the Adobe Creative Suite extensively in my work. This included using InDesign for digital magazine layouts, Photoshop for image edits, and Illustrator for infographics. Bridge was essential for efficient file organization. Adobe Muse was a key tool for web layout creation, while Acrobat and After Effects supported dynamic digital features. I often managed multiple brand features simultaneously, ensuring all formatting, visuals, and tone remained consistent across diverse outputs like brochures, websites, and digital campaigns.

Mauritius Studio Phase
Mauritius Studio Phase
I took on the role of leading design efforts for Gravitas Finance LLC locally, overseeing all creative aspects for their financial projects.
In the later phase of my journey, I relocated to Mauritius for six months to work closely with the core team at Gravitas Finance LLC's main headquarters. During this time, I focused exclusively on local financial projects and digital branding. I contributed significantly to the launch of internal brochures and investor-facing creative material. My time in Mauritius allowed me to refine my workflow in a new regional context, adapting to local design preferences while consistently upholding international creative standards.
